PSC at RE-SKIN

The European project RE-SKIN aims to transform the way existing buildings are renovated by developing innovative solutions that enable old, energy-inefficient constructions to be converted into modern, sustainable, and energy-efficient buildings.
RE-SKIN is developing an advanced, integrated, and multifunctional retrofitting system designed to renovate the European building stock by combining energy efficiency, smart readiness, sustainability, and circular economy principles.

The penetration of renewable energy in both industrial and residential environments is growing every day, with photovoltaic panels becoming increasingly common. At the same time, the progress in battery technology over the last few years has enabled the creation of embedded energy storage systems for small and medium installations, offering strong profitability even for residential users.
Within the ReSkin project, PSC has developed an integrated energy management system that combines solar generation, storage, climate control, and electric vehicle charging within a single device.
This unit connects directly to a three-phase grid and, thanks to its scalable power architecture, can handle up to 150 kW. It provides connections for PV strings, batteries, EV chargers, and HVAC systems (for example, heat pumps), operating in both grid-feeding and grid-forming modes. Its flexible configuration enables customized and optimized energy management for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
