PSC at PowerizeD

PowerizeD is a European project that aims to transform the way energy is generated, managed, and used through the development of smart digital power electronics.

This project, financed by the European Union, brings together companies, universities, and research centers to create new technologies that improve energy efficiency and support the transition toward a low-carbon economy.

PowerizeD addresses the entire technological value chain of power electronics, from materials and components to complete systems. The technologies developed will be applied across several strategic sectors, including the semiconductor industry, electric energy sector, automotive industry, traction industry, and industrial market.

PowerizeD brings together 61 companies and research organisations from 13 European countries, making it one of the most significant collaborative projects in the field of power electronics.

Thanks to this international collaboration, the project helps drive key technologies for a more efficient, secure, and sustainable energy infrastructure, supporting Europe's climate and digitalisation goals.

The field of power electronics is advancing rapidly thanks to new semiconductor technologies and increasingly powerful digital platforms. These advances enable the implementation of more complex algorithms and faster evaluation times.

PSC stands out in this area with a distinctive approach: leveraging digital platforms capable of real-time system emulation with extreme resolution, using non-idealized component models. The component modeling technology developed within the PowerizeD project, combined with years of accumulated know-how, has allowed PSC to launch a new line of ultra-precise real-time emulation systems designed for advanced research, development, and testing applications.
